Vibroacoustic therapy
Microvibration occurs in every living organism. They are as essential as oxygen or food. Tissue microvibration, like heat, is an important component of physiological and immunological processes. We need them to remove excess fluid from the body, they take part in stimulating circulation, nourishing cells located far from capillaries, in immunological processes concerning the transport and penetration of leukocytes into tissue cells, and in blood-forming processes carried out in the marrow. The source of microvibration in the living organism is regular contraction of myofibrillals of muscle cells.
Vibroacoustic therapy is a type of therapy based on local contact with diseased tissues by means of microvibration, i.e. sound (acoustic) vibrations of varying frequency. This form of interaction is to improve the flow of blood and lymph bodily fluids in a given area of the body. Treatment includes also vibroacoustic effects on liver, kidneys, spinal cord and bone marrow – significantly increasing their efficiency. Vibroacoustic massage can be applied at any time of the day, during rest or after an intensive workout.
Symptoms and inflammations in the body indicate an increase in the number of damaged cells in affected area. Damaged cells have less capacity to remove products of catabolism and metabolism. Instead of being removed through the skin and lymph, metabolic products enter the bloodstream, disturbing chemical balance in the body.
A vibration-emitting device shall be applied directly to the body surface. Generated microvibrations penetrate the body’s tissues to a depth of approximately 10 centimeters. When the device is in contact with body, microvibrations are transmitted from vibrating elements to the body tissues. The frequency of vibrations changes automatically according to programmed cycle in the device.
If we apply vibroacoustic in a place with a volume of more than 10 cm (e.g. thigh, shoulder), the transducers are placed opposite or next to each other. If the treatment area is below 10 cm in volume (e.g. arm), the transducers are placed at an angle of approximately 90 degrees to each other so that the signal overlaps in the ailment area. Vibroacoustics can also be carried out using Rife generator
When is vibroacoustic therapy recommended?
Vibroacoustic therapy is recommended in diabetes, allergy, hypertension, adenoma, hepatitis B, C and bronchitis. This method is also helpful in the treatment of lesions related to impaired blood circulation and neurotransmission. It is recommended for treatment of acute and chronic pain syndromes, such as chronic pain after limb fracture, bone and skeletal pain, or acute back pain in the lumbar and thoracic sections. It is also used to treat arthritis, degenerations, injuries and inflammations of joints. It is especially recommended for the elderly and chronically ill.
Effects of vibroacoustic Therapy:
-
- Acceleration of detoxification from the body
- Stimulation of the immune system
- Pain and swelling reduction
- Accelerates anti-cellulite treatments
- Improves blood and lymph circulation
- Stabilizes the spine by reducing muscle tension
- It helps with: sprains, torn tendons, fractures, muscle pains
Contraindications – when vibroacoustic therapy should not be used?
- during pregnancy
- in areas of revealed atherosclerosis
- in places of thrombophlebitis
- during acute infectious diseases and in fever
- in case of pacemaker
